This was my first CoHo book and my first Tarryn Fisher. After so many positive reviews about both the authors, I was really disappointed after reading this book which was just average for me.
This book is about Charlie and Silas who suddenly forget everything they knew about themselves, their past, their family. Now they are trying to figure out how they forgot. And that’s the basic plot of the book. Yeah…
So the problems with this book were :
1.) They is no prologue to give you a basic idea of what’s happening. So you are left with Charlie and Silas to figure out what’s happening on your own.
And they don’t remember anything.
Best friends since they could walk.
In love since the age of fourteen.
Complete strangers since this morning.
He’ll do anything to remember.
She’ll do anything to forget.
3.) There is a cliffhanger.
4.) And last, Charlie. I hate her.
For more than half of the book, I had no idea what was happening and when things started making sense, the book ended with ‘…. to be continued.’ The latter half was better because it was
a little funny because otherwise the story is too weird to digest.
Well, you can read it if you like CoHo books or Tarryn Fisher books but otherwise it is not for you.
